For this I made a really simple example, but it holds true at work with larger, more complicated ones. I have a simple tube, and then another intersecting it at an angle. I then take those parts and move teh bodies to new parts and create drawings from them. If I try to do a Pack-and-Go operation on the group, I get the main weldment and the drawing of it, but not the body parts or drawings. Everyone seems to be saying that it should work. I really want to figure this out this weekend so I transfered my work SW2010 (SW x64 on W7 x64) license to a fresh installed copy at home (same), so I don't think it's a setting at work. I'm all default settings here. Anyway, if anyone has run into this before and figured it out, I'd love to hear what worked for you. Anyone have any thoughts?
Hi Damon,
What you are describing is the designed behavior when using Pack and Go with derived, split, and saved bodies from a multi-body part or weldment in this case. These independently saved bodies along with their drawings are now considered to be separated from the parent in regard to Pak and Go even though they may still share an external reference pointer to them. Due to this limitation, I encourage you to fill out an enhancement request if this is desired functionality you would like to see potentially looked at in the future.

In the meantime, a possible workaround would be to create an assembly that contains all the separate bodies in it just as a reference assembly. Use this as your Pack and Go assembly and then check to include drawings, you should then get your desired results.
