Ever since the upgrade to SP4.0 in SW2011, this among other things have become a problem.
Everytime I start SolidWorks and open an assembly, the Command Manager toolbar pops up in floating state. I do not use Command Manager, and it's unwanted.
Even after setting it to not be used it still insists on showing up on startup of SW and opening an assembly. Sure every morning I close it...but I should not have to do that.
Did they hire some newbies to make the SP4.0 or what ?
I am using SW2011-SP4 and do not use the CM, but I do not have the problem you are seeing. It may well be a problem within your system.
Try opening the assembly template and make sure the CM hasn't somehow been reactivated. Resave the template just in case.
If you are seeing other problems after the SP4 update, you may have had a bad install.
