Hi
For your second question, open the toolbox part do a save-as in a non read-only location, and modify your part. If you use PDMWorks you need to remove the toolbox flag (search for the sldsetdocprop.exe file in the solidworks install directory).
Hope this help

The trouble is, the toolbox gears only accept standard Diametral pitch sizes which jump from 12 to 16. I don't see a way of entering a custom pitch.
I was going to look at the base sketch, but it's telling me the part is read only, and won't let me in. I tried opening the gear, and again I got a read only warning. This time the part opened but the system go so sluggish that I couldn't get to the sketch to open it. Perhaps it ran into conflicting instructions.
Anyway, is there a 1) way to enter circular pitches, or if not 2) a way to edit the sketch in a toolbox part? Thanks!
