A "bolt" symbol is appearing (standard fastener)
How to remove that symbol?
please look in the attachments
Thanks in advance
Use the utiltiy suggested by Andrew i.e SetDocProps
1. Go to C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\Toolbox\data utilities and run the file "sldsetdocprop.exe"2. "Add" the desired file(s) or folder(s) of files3. Activate the "Property State: Nos" radio button4. Click "Update Status"
Always make a backup copy of any parts before using this tool.
Use the SetDocProps utility found in C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\Toolbox\data utilities
You can't. That represents that the part is a toolbox part.
Short of recreating the part from scratch there isn't a way. Sorry.
Why do you need to remove the symbol so bad? It doesn't harm your assembly.
As you said, the symbol is not affecting my assembly,
But while uploading the files to vault, it is creating some problems
thank you deepak, I will try this out
it worked Deepak.
Thanks a lot
I am curious, Andrew Hall gave you the correct answer 5 minutes before Deepak Gupta so why didn't you mark Andrew's answer as the correct one?
You gave the correct answer. Thankyou very much for that.
Andrew's answer is correct.
Honestly, i did not understand it fully in the begining.
While I was trying it out on what properties are to be changed, Deepak added a little more detail.
No personal interest or bias.
Thank you all for your help.
I never knew that could be done. Thanks Andrew for that info.
Has this program been removed in 2012?
