I'm trying to get a solidworks file to convert to a .x file. From what I understand, .x file is a 3D model for direct x. I've googled everything I can think of and come up empty. Anyone have any ideas?

I believe DirectX is a mesh format, so you may have better luck going the SolidWorks to STL to X route. An STL to X converter may be easier to find.
Check at the Sycode site. They have loads of mesh converters.
