I am trying to show bend lines in a flat pattern drawing with one bend formed. They will show up in a complete flat patternm but if I try to show one bend formed I cannot get the remaining bend lines to show up.
You ned to set up a configuration(s) in your part file the way you want it to appear in you drawing.
Then in your drawing view, under properties select that config..
Can you post an image of what you are talking about?
here are the 2 drawings.notice that the one with the bent flange does not retain the bending information and for some reason the dimension from the edge to the bend ine is .004 differant. Why is that? I realize that the drawing with the bent flange is not a true flat pattern drawing but is there a way to keep the flat pattern characteristics if there is one bent flange?
We can't open the drawings without the parts (Pack and Go to a zip). Screen shot's should help us understand.
The bend lines are showing up on the drawing when I open it... about 20 of them!
You can open a drawing without the parts if you use the quick view option in the file open dialog
