I have problem with my model. Please help. Please read the attached picture and SW file
It seems that Cut-Extrude12 is creating a point of zero-thickness. I'm surprised it allowed you to create the feature in the first place. Try patterning everything except Cut-Extrude12. Then add a second pattern with only Cut-Extrude12. It worked for me.
Does not work for me
It comes up with another error
It's because of the way you are creating the big block and then carving it away. When you get far enough around, the cutting portion of those features are cutting into the internal teeth in such a way as to end up with zero-thickness geometry. There are probably some better methods to create that ramp geometry, but to get you going with what you have you can do this.
Go back to the Boss-Extrude7 feature and uncheck Merge result. This will leave you with 2 bodies. Work your way through the next features and change the feature scope on each feature to the new body only. Go all the way down to the finish of the ramp. Then create your circular pattern and pattern the body, not the features. Then select all three bodies and combine them back into one body.
"Go back to the Boss-Extrude7 feature and uncheck Merge result."
Are you talking about right click on Boss-Extrude7 under design tree??
Either right-click or left-click, all the same. You need to edit that feature as if you were creating it and in that dialog box, you will find a check box to uncheck,
I have to ask - how are you creating all of your sketches? They don't have any dimensions in them and are not fully defined?
I am putting the concept together at this point. Number is not too important at this phase
Here is a comparison of your file and what I would suggest as a cleaner method of arriving at your solution. There was a lot of extra "stuff" that was causing your earlier problems. Take a look at the WT part and ask about what is not obvious.
