moving parts in exploded view not on XYZ

hello all,



im trying to do an exploded view of my design and im having problems defining movement to some items that  are mated so they are not on surfaces XYZ.

so the movement of the explode is an angle, and i haven't found any way to do it with the exploded view window (except doing it in 2 movements- first x, then y till it gets to the right position, but this way you cant animate becuse its the wrong movement).


any ideas people?


by the way, i was wondering if there isn't an automatic way to produce the route lines of the exploded view.

its strange to me that SW doesn't produce them automatically according to what you defined in the exploded view parameters.

its strange that you have to do it manually after exploding the items, and it sure takes a long time........
