I'm starting use the VB.NET. I'm trying add SolidWorks form in the VB.NET. How do this?
Welcome to the forum. What version of Solidworks are you running?
What exactly are you trying to do insode of SW with VB?
I ask because MS is phasing out VB and thus so is SW.
Hello Scott,I'm using SolidWorks 2010 SP4 and VB.Net 2010 Express. Now I'm trying tests only. For example a form with a button, this button generate a line.
I just wanted you to be aware of that because I used to use VB as a custom property manager
and my VAR told me what I told you. That is why they came out with the Tab Builder.
Do you have a simple example to send me? I believe that would help me.
I think this is one of them.
realy thanks Scott! It is ok for me now.
But I need a VB.Net example yet....
You're welcome. That is all I have for now.
Hope it at least gets you started.
Scott, MS and SolidWorks will not be phasing out VB.NET, they will be phasing out VBA or VB6.
Fabricio, Create a Windows Application in VB.NET. Add Rewferences to SldWorks Type Library and SolidWorks Constant type library
Wayne, are you have a VB.NET example with a SolidWorks template??
I am sorry for misleading then. I guess I assumed when my VAR told me that
MS was phasing out VB I thought all of it.
