Is there a way to get SW 2011 to auto populate the weld symbols in a drawing view?

I "sorta does it" when it performs an auto annotaion when you first drag the view in from the View Pallette.

Also, I can't always get get SW 2011 to automatically pick the weld when I am manually adding the Weld Symbols. It "sometimes" figures out the weld data but most of the time it doesn't.
