When I export data from the Toolbox to Microsoft Excel, formulae are not calculated

I'm trying to add descriptions to fasteners in my Toolbox so that they reflect the stock codes and descriptions used at my company.

I understand that in order to add descriptions to parts, I first need to give them a unique number.

In the Toolbox I use the Export data function to export all the data for one group of fasteners to an Excel spreadsheet. In the spreadsheet, I want to use the CONCATENATE formula to create unique part numbers based on the size of the part (thread diameter, shank length, etc).

The problem I'm having is that the formulae I enter are not being calculated - the cell value is staying as =CONCATENATE(A1,"-", ...).

I've tried hitting F9 to get the formulae to calculate, and I've made sure that automatic calculation is turned on in Tools > Options.

If I copy the values from the SW-created spreadsheet into a new Excel document, the calculations work just fine.

Any ideas what's happening?

Many thanks,

Chris
