    Replication Schedule

    Stanley Lui

When setting up a replication schedule between two servers in different time zones, I'm told that the time must be expressed as local server time.  But which server?  The target, the source, or something else?  I was originally told that the time displays in whatever time zone I was viewing the schedule from, but I've checked from different computers and the schedule looks exactly the same, so I think I was told wrong.

The times you specify in the schedule will trigger based on the local server time of the Target Server. For example, if the Target Server is located in the United States and the Source Server is located in Sweden and you set the schedule to start at midnight, that replication will occur at midnight United States time.
