Our Sheet 2 behaves just as you describe. Most of our title block data is linked to a model in the view, not the drawing properties ($PRPSHEET:"..."). Therefore, the new sheet's title block does not fill out until I place a model view on that sheet. To change this behavior so that the sheet 2+ title block always points to the model on sheet 1, select sheet properties and at the bottom of the dialog box change the "Use custom property values from model shown in:" drop down from default to a standard view on sheet 1 such as "Front View".
The title block properties that are linked to drawing specific custom properties (page number, drawing revision, scale, etc) are filled out when the page 2 is added regardless of a drawing view being inserted.
Thanks for the reply. This is what I am doing now, but I was hoping that it would automatically fill out the title block so I wouldn't have to go and force it to a view.
Any other suggestions????
The way we do that here is to point the properties on the second sheet to the drawing properties instead of model properties. We do need to fill the properties in the drawing but we have a macro that does that for us.
