SAIC currently has multiple, entry-level, openings for SOLIDWORKS DRAFTERS supporting our C4IT Business Unit's Tactical Vehicle Integration Division in NORTH CHARLESTON, SC.

Candidate will utilize SolidWorks to develop basic to moderately complex designs for electronic, electro-mechanical, or mechanical equipment in support of the MRAP/MATV Provisioning Engineering Support Documentation (PESD) project. He/She will perform standard drafting assignments from work orders given. Under direct supervision, prepares working plans, detailed drawings and complete mechanical or electrical drawings of components and assemblies. Works from notes, verbal instructions and detailed sketches for engineering or manufacturing purposes. Verifies completed work, checks dimensions and quantities of materials to be used.


High School diploma or GED and less than one (<1) year of 3D CAD design experience using SolidWorks is required.


Must have 3D CAD experience with SolidWorks.


Cable fabrication design experience highly preferred.


Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
