Where do you have single corp option in save as dialog box.
Please do anybody guide me for this..........
Are you sure it is "Single Corp" and not "Save As Copy" or some other option
Yaa your i am not sure of it but this was given by the client.
It comes when we save a assy file in parts and then save as the part file, in option, to step file.
Check check with them as there is no option called single corp. There are only three option when you save assy as part.
I'd make sure there is no lost in translation .
I dont get the option for single corp.
the description tab is empty. do help me out with more details
I think the Description box is for you to type your own particular description into. It is an input from you, not something that SolidWorks provides. If you have previously given your assembly a description in the file properties, then perhaps it shows that property by default.
That box like Jerry said is for you to type in your own description. The particular
description value drives a SW system custom property called description.
Reading through the rest of this thread leaves me a little confused as to what exactly you
are looking for. I see the single corp, but like Deepak said there nothing in SW like that.
There is the save as, save as copy (and you can rename files through the references button)
there is pack and go, you can export through different media's like step, iges, parasolid etc.
You can also save assemblies out as part with different solidbodies.
Do you know what software this customer is using that has a command called single corp?
And get a description of what it does in that particular software, maybe we can nail it down.
