Hi,
I am trying to run a buckling simulation on a pretty simple assembly part that consists of two parts, but I am constantly running into meshing errors. No matter how I design the part or assemble it I still get the same meshing error when I try to run the simulation. The error is:
Failure Diagnostics: "Surface mesh successful.Volume mesh failed.Reducing element size or increasing number of elements per circle may help."
I have tried to set the mesh to the coarsest possible, but still no luck. I'm not familar with the other meshing options.
If anyone has input on how to make this simulation run, I would really appreciate it!
Best,
Omid
Omid -
you need to make the mesh finer, not coarser. It says reducing element size may help - to reduce the size of each element you need to divide the model into a larger # of elements.
