I have inserted a vendor drawing (jpg) into my SW dwg, and I need to cover up some areas (essentially white out) of that drawing from view. I've tried adding a blank note over the top, but it slides under the dwg and has no effect.
Are you talking about blocking out certain areas of the jpg?
Why not do that in MS paint then insert it the way you need it.
Thanks, I put it into a Power Point, placed a text box over it with white background, and took another snapshot of the jpg and re-inserted into the SW dwg.
Thanks for the tip!!!!!
Do you have any suggestions on inserting pictures, objects, etc. without them being so blurry? We place vendor dwgs onto our drawing templates, but they go from a very clear pdf to a blurry jpg in the dwg.
Go to Insert>object>browse for your jpg then insert.
