I create a small assembly where I'm trying to simulate a rack and pinion assembly to have the pinion rotate and turns the shutter ("L" bracket). I can get the Rack to move vertically when I mate the Rack with the Pinion but I want the Rack to be fixed and the Pinion to rotate thus moving the rest of the assembly vertically.  . Can someone please help?

Edit: I posted this yesterday and was waiting for some response before I continuing. If this cannot be done, can someone please let me know so I can proceed with other options
