I've created two wheel bands using sheet metal tool, but one of the wheel bands have three base bends and the other one only has one. I used the base flange to create the sheet metal wheel bands and I did not sketch any of the bends. I want to know why SolidWorks creates one bend on one part and three on the other. I want both parts to have three bends, but I'm not sure how to do that. Can anyone help please, thank you.
I don't know why that happened ... perhaps the wind changed direction.
If you want both to have 3 bends copy the one with 3 bends, and edit the dimensions to suit.
Not sure what's actually happening. If I take the one with the 1 base bend and change the dims to match the other one, then it gets 3 base bends.
I suspect it has to do with the way that the arc and the lines intersect. I was not able to add a tangent relation between the end lines and the arc and I'm not sure why not. Seems like they should be tangent. Maybe investigate that and the other problem will be resolved.

Go back to your base sketch add a tangent to both sides of the arc,
it works fine then. The angle must be mismatched so small solidworks
can't handle it.
