When I change ModelView cameras by assigning a new camera to the property ModelView.Camera, or by calling  ModelView.SetCameraByName(), there is a transition animation between the two camara views.

Does anyone know of a way to disable this?

You can disable view transitions in the View Options, but I would prefer not to override this setting.
