    big parasolid files

      hi.
i can't open parasolid parts that are bigger than about 10 MB.
even if that file was created by my solidworks station.
smaller parasolid files are open ok at my station.
i sent one file to our solidworks service and it was open there ok.
may be is there some setup parameter in solidworks or windows that can cause the problem. it happened to me in 2 computers.
      thank's arnon

          what's your RAM size?
          Virtual memory setting??
And what's the precision setting when you import the parasolid file?

I was having the same problem, the only thing that worked for me was to use SolidWorks Rx, and use the function of starting a SolidWorks session bypassing the options (at the bottom of the diagnostics page). Then you will have to manually resolve all the levels of components, a hassle, but a viable workaround.
