Hi,
I'm running SolidWorks 2010, I was recently upgraded to SolidWorks Premium so that I could use CircuitWorks. The issue is, when I open an ECAD file, CircuitWorks only opens as a viewer and not all options are available. We did a complete uninstall and cleaned out the registry and when reinstalled I still have the same issue. Any suggestions?

I have used CircuitWorks yet so not sure what menus are missing. But attached is what I can see on my screen when I open up and ECAD file. Does yours is different or same? Can you point out what icons are missing?

Thanks for the reply and the info. The attached file shows what I see when I open an ECAD file. It says CircuitWorks viewer I don't have the option to save or open files, and also notice that I don't have the SolidWorks logo next to the CircuitWorks logo as you have.
SolidWorks contacted me and have a possible soulition. They suggest that I perform another uninstall and registry cleanout. Then do another install using the DVD. It was installed using an image on the server and they supect that the server image is bad.

Yes that can be one of the reason. Also while you do the reinstall, make sure you have disabled the antivirus. And in case you don't have the DVD, you should be able to download the files from SolidWorks website.
Had to completly uninstall SolidWorks and clean out the registry files and reinstall from the DVD. Finally it works .
