Changing the dimension offset distances in Tools -> Options -> Document Properties -> Dimensions is disabled if the "Annotation view layout" box is checked.

My question is, where are the dimension offset distances set if the "Annotation view layout" box is checked?

Also, I checked help and am not sure what the "Annotation view layout" is or what it is used for. Is this a tool for importing a model's feature sketch dimensions into a drawing?
