Currently I'm having some "difficulty" dimensioning a warp feature. This is a 6" dia tube, with the letter M drawn on it. I had created a plane tangent to the diameter surface and debossed it 2mm with the wrap command. The letter M was drawn to a specific size and centered a specific way. How can I dimension this? Seeing as the points of the M are 1mm radiuses, I cannot dimension them since solidworks knows its on a rounded surface. Is there anyway to flatten it out so i can get the correct dimensions on there? Aside from drawing centerlines on top of it?
