Is there any Macro to convert batch of solidwork files to IGES/Step/PDF files.
There are lot of macros available on this forum and you can modify them as required.
Some of them are:
Rebuild & saveas PDF
Save As PDF 1.22
SaveAsPDF with Folder Selection
You may also use SW Task Scheduler or BatchProcess

Thanks a lot Deepak.
I never expected this is soo easy. Gr8
Does the Rebuild & Saveas PDF macro still work for 64 bit systems running SW2013 and soon to be 2014? I'm trying to run it on my machine but I get a runtime error. Do we have to manual add the correct directoy to the code each time we run it?
Try this one.
Thanks, that works great.
Hi Deepak, I am tyring to use your batch save pdf drawing macro, but was wondering exactly how I specify the path for the files I would like to save or even where I specify them.
Also, does this mean there is no way to save ALL OPEN drawings as PDF's? That you have to specify the file paths one by one?
Welcome to SolidWorks forums Bryan.
This macro makes PDF of files located in a folder i.e. the macro will ask you to specify the input folder where there are drawing files from which you need PDFs. Once you run the macro you'll get a pop up box to select the folder.
Are you looking for saving PDF of an active drawing file??

I am looking to have a macro that saves all drawings open as a PDF to sa chosen location (or same location) once the macro is ran. Also looking for a macro that will save the current viewed drawing as a PDF to a chosen location (or same location) as well.
I haven tried to use Macro to batch save and convert to pdf drawing, I still was stuck on how to specify the path for the loading files and how to set the exporting strings. I have been using an very easy and simple to understand pdf converter to convert Solid drawings files into pdf or IGES files. So, I believe I need more specific guides to convert Solid drawing into pdf macro successfully.
