Does anyone know where the Solidworks Journal Folders registry key gets populated from when a new profile is created? Currently it defaults to an old user profile that no longer exists on my image. I would like to change this to auto populate when a new user logs in.
Thanks for the reply scott, I am familiar with this action. The issue is that by default it creates the HKCU\Software\Solidworks\Solidworks 2008\ExtReferences\Solidworks Journal Folders with the wrong string value. In short it uses an old user profile instead of the %username% variable by default. I believe this is tied to the profile but cannot find where it holds the old user profile so I can change it. Could this setting be stored in the default user profile or HKUsers\.default somewhere?
Ok, I know this is an old thread but I saw in it the reg entry that looks like what you are talking about.
