I just upgraded to SW 2011 from SW 2009 and am working through all the new stuff I have to get used to. One thing is, I can't seem to select a bunch of mates using the shift or ctrl key. I used to do this to unsupress a group of them. I tried searching this topic on here and didn't see the answer, but I know it has got to be a real easy fix.

Well as it turns out I was able to close my assembly and re-open it and now I can use the shift key to select mulitple mates. Let's chock this one up to my ineptitude.

I wouldn't say that it had anything to do with ineptitude on your part; more likely it was due to the inability of SW to clean up after itself. It was SW that had a cleaner slate after the open and close. I don't think that you suddenly had an epiphany!
