Hi,

I am currently modeling an assembly that consists of two parts. The first is a 'shell' with thin dimensions and hollow interior. The second part would be a piece to fit perfectly inside it, but consist of a different material. The parts are to be mated together for FEM.

I'm finding it difficult and tedious to model both parts to fit exactly together, and was wondering if there is an easy method to create the interior or exterior parts. i.e. create the shell, then run a function to fill the shell with a new part automatically.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have included the shell part as a reference.
