Hi
This one mite seem trivial, but it's bugging me. I just upgraded to Professional 2010 SP5 from Standard 2010 SP4. I used to have an automatic preview when I was getting ready to extrude, or cut or revolve, It was wire frame & had a shadow. Since the upgrade I just have the wire frame & the shadow is gone.
How do I get my shadow back...??
( This Is not the little glasses preview ) it would change with the depth of cut I was thinking about using.

I think your talking about the Icon "Shadow in shaded mode"
I have mine placed in my HUD
Found also in View\Display Shadow

It's not the shadow icon - It's the preview you get before you do an extrude. It used to be shaded and now it's just a yellow profile & a line.
I hit screen capture - how do I save it....??

Paste it into an image editing utility (Paint, FastStone, Irfanview, nView, etc) and save it as a JPG or PNG, then post here.
I'm not sure if I understand your issue? Can you attach a screen shot of what you see on screen. Also check if enabling/disabling instant 3d on the feature toolbar helps.
