I've tried searching but haven't been able to find a solution, and surely someone else must be in the same boat.

First, we're running Solidworks 2009 SP5.1. OS is Windows 7 64-bit. Our repository of parts, drawings, etc is held on a network, nothing is local on the computer.

Before we had Windows 7, we were on XP, and man was Explorer awesome. I could type in the part name, the part number, or any other custom property, and Solidworks Explorer would find the file on the network and I could import/access it immediately.

Now, however, Explorer just will not search! I type something in, and it just says no results found. I can search FILENAMES through the windows serach program, but that doesn't use the files' custom properties that actually makes searching useful, so I need help!

Why won't Explorer search out files on my network? Network paths are specified in the "serach paths", "referenced documents", etc, but something is amiss.
