Anybody else having problem with Reference Point?

When I try to create one with intersection (axis perpendicular to a plane) or projection (sketch point to a plane) it fails.

Same problem with 32bit XP and 64bit Vista.

I have had some problem earlier but now (SW2011 SP3.0) looks like getting worse :-(

Notised that these "features" has not been fixed for at least 3-4 years. So it is not a SW2011 SP3.0 issue.
