Im a little bambuzled... I cant quite get how EPDM creates the file name for an msg file. When I drag an email in it goes through the corrospondance workflow but some how it appends some words and a date stamp onto the name such as "emails in pdm_2011-03-24_16-12-50.msg" I can see it queries the variables for the information but I cant see it doing it in the workflow so where does it do it?
Found it, its within dispatch64 and then administrative actions. My next question is how do you create a variable which is the email recieved date and time rather than the date and time the email was dragged into the relevant folder?
Edit: Turns out the dispatch util has a set of variables which take the text fields from either explorer or the message. You can populate the fields based on these variables.
