I created a model of a shaft that had different diameters. Then I added threads to one diameter of the OD at one end. I want to show the diameter of the shaft from a side view in my drawing but I am not able to select the lines. I can select the diameter in the end view and dimension it that way, but the view is too small to see what the dimension line is pointing to. I am guessing the threads are affecting why I cannot dimension in the side view. I have attached the files.

Anyone else have this problem?
