Sometimes export drawing to dwg doesn't work.
When I try to save as dwg, I get two error messages:
There's no plase to run this command.
Can't load Solidworks DLL: slddwgu.dll
Afrer SW restart everything is OK.
Where is the problem?
Here is a link that has the file that I use to clean out the registry.
SolidWorks 2011 SP2
Dell Precision T3400
4 GB RAM
Windows XP SP3
Uninstall Solidworks, clean out the registry and reload it?
Seems to bo necessary solution, because SW 2011 makes more bugs (i.e. on drawing some visible parts disappears from sheet).
How to clean registry from SW entries? Manually or is some kind of toll dedicated to do this?
With XP, you might be running out of memory if you are trying to run this operation after opening large assemblies or a lot of files.
I have the same problem too from time to time. Like you , I found the only way to fix it is to restart solidworks.
