I just started using the Simulation add-on package and can't apply a material to even the simplest part. I always get an error message that says: "Material is not applied to some of the components in Solidworks".
I've gone through the tutorial on frequency analysis and get the exact same error. And yes, I am right clicking on the component in the frequency analysis pane. I am quite familiar with the tool and used it successfully on an earlier SW version with COSMOS.
I am sure this is something dumb that I am overlooking and would appreciate any clues.

Are you running these on any weldment pieces. I have noticed that the material doesn't carry from the <as machined> to the <as welded> configurations which has caused me issues on my cut lists. Even if it is not a weldment perhaps it is the same sort of functional issue. Otherwise, I don't have any other ideas why this would happen.
