Hi All

I am being frustrated by this error message, "...is being used by another user. Do you want to open a copy?".

It means I need to do "save as" and muck around changing file names later on. It can be really annoying when updating lots of drawings.

This happens randomly to files, I may have a string of similar files, and this error will happen to 3 out of 6 of them, at any time of the day.

There is no other user using the files, it may also be the first time that day that the files have been opened.

These files are set up on a server and modified and saved to the same place each time.

The other error that has started lately that I believe is related, is when dragging a file into the window to open I get this

"An error was encountered while trying to open your file. Contact Technical Support for a possible solution."

Then the next time I drag it in to open, I get the top error and have to open a copy.

Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this, or how to overcome it?
