OK. Now that I can get the custom property "Fy MIN" to show in the weldment custom property, I want to pick the value from the Edit Materials, property tab, "description". How do I do that?

For our purposes, it is the ultimate yield strength of the material, in ksi (kips per inch). In the case of A36 structural steel is 36 ksi, for A500, os 50 ksi. In the edit materials library, in the Properties tab, I have put these values in the "Description" field. I would like to access these values in Cutlist properties.

I think you're going to have to create a Custom Material Library. On the Edit Material Dialog, copy a material or folder from the SolidWorks Materials and Pasted in to the Custom Materials Folder, once they are custom you can edit the values and Add Properties, there you can add your "Fy Min" that will populate your custom properties.

I'm sorry, I didn't mention it, but the edit Materials I was referring to is in a custom materials library. Can you provide a little more detail how I get the Fy MIN into the library, and then into Custom Properties?

I guess one needs to use macro to retrieve the properties.
