Is it possible to put a hem or edge flange on this angled bracket? I've been trying for over an hour and the harder I try, the less possible it looks.
Thanks for any insights you might be able to share.

Sorry, my question wasn't very clear. I've already hemmed the edges. The problem is that because of the angled flange, SW won't add the hem to those edges (of the angled flange) and I can't do it manually and trim them. Do you see the overlaps on my model? It seems to be an impossible feature to add.
Thanks for looking at my problem.
to me, a hem is 180 degrees.
try editing the flange "sketch".
you can edit this sketch just like any other sketch.
anyway i attached a couple of screen shots.
i would stay away from mitre for this particular part and go with square joint (jpeg 2).
also, in the edit flange dialog box there is an option to trim side bends.
try selecting that for your flanges.
btw, the sketched bend was unnecessary.
It looks just plain stupid to me why miter flange does not work here. This is a perfect oppurtinity to use it, yet I've tried and tried and cannot get it to work. What a waste.
p.s. I would love to meet the guy that can actually bend this thing up.
