ihave a surface model iwant to pattern sclop around the elipse area how can ido?
thanks for answering
No because geometry of the surface/faces (in green) will be different along the curve. So you will have to use the loft only.
You can loft the quarter part and then mirror twice to make the complete one.Check the attached part where I have used mirror twice to generate the file.
I doubt if you can use pattern to do that. Why not use the loft tool to generate the surface.
Your part look symmetrical, so I would suggest you take a quarter of the part. Then generate the surface(s) as required using loft and then mirror the body twice.
i can not use loft tool because i have no edge or sketch for lofting and the other hand i need to design hemologeraphic sclop is it possible curve pattern in surface modeling?
Yes you can use curve driven pattern in the surfacing as well
Sorry for my ignorance but I still didn't understand your need? BTW what is hemologeraphic sclop?
hemologeraphic means symmetric i send my file and please curve pattern in this file around the elipse
Do you mean this??
thank you is it possible to do this work in this file.?
I am fully agree with Deepak Gupta here..
use quarter approach to model this..
Here is a similar thread that might give you some tips on doing what you are trying to do.
