    simulation file types

    Steve Fiacchino

Where can I get a list and discription of the file types that are created when running a simulation? i.e. *.cwr, *.dat, *.gen, *.ida, etc... I would like to know the importance of each of the files for file management purposes. Thanks...

That's a good question.  There is a list in the old cosmosm manuals of file extensions, but there are some that are no longer used and some that are SolidWorks files.  I would think all the old geometry input files are no longer used.  The old cosmosm User's Gude, Appendix D has that information.  I have an old hardcopy, but it is in the electronic version (I can't accesss that right now.)
