How to create a model about curve belt in sheet metal?
Please see image, the curve belt is big dimension, need to drawing 2 to 3 sheets flat pattern to join one belt, and dimension on the flat pattern;
I need to dimention as below drawing;
Hi Wen Yan,
I don't think it will come out correct in SM due to normal cut constraints but this is close.
The other option would be to draw the flat pattern and add the bends but you need to work out the flat pattern
Thanks very much for ur feedback!
Please see the image, It's available to do Sheet Metal If the diameter D2 = D1; but fault to make the SM if D2 > D1, see below image: Any other way to solution this problem? Wen

the first image in your post is an optical illusion.
the second image (flat-pattern) in your post is incorrect.
are you using sw 2010 or older?
if yes, post your model.
i attached an example using old sheetmetal method.
i only did half because it will not come out like you are showing in jpeg.
the bend where flat section starts (see marked up jpeg) will have to be a complex or twisted curve. not possible with sheetmetal tools.
you can possibly do part of it in a press brake but, you will have to hand form to get final shape.
settle already. see below:
