Team Dassault, looking for more cyclists

It is a new year, and if your resolutions include a more active lifestyle and some philanthropy, Team Dassault may be just the ticket.

Team Dassault is a group of individuals that join together several times a summer for cycling. We welcome everybody to join and ride with us, either at the MS150 or just on one of our training rides. The MS150 Bike Ride, the second weekend in June, raises funds for research and programs in support of individuals and families afflicted with MS.

Team Dassault is sponsored by SolidWorks Corporation, with a contribution to the team evenly divided between the members. In previous years, that contribution has covered the whole fee to participate in the MS150.

In 2010, Team Dassault raised more than $24,000.00 for the MS150 event, with 35 people riding in the MS150. We also rode in the team jersey in: the Minnesota Iron Man, Tour de Cure, Tour of the Saints, Tour de Roses, Tour de Tonka, Chequamegon 40 Fat Tire Festival, St Paul Classic, and Minneapolis Parks ride.

150 miles might sound overwhelming, but it is really 6 rides of 11-14 miles, two days in a row, on a nice June weekend. We can certainly use your support, either by participating or contributing to our fund raising efforts.
