Will be intresting to see how this pans out.
I expect it will work very well with a Bootcamped Windows 7 x64 install.
I too am wondering how this works out. Its not that i want a macbook over anything else its mainly that I am trying to integrate my whole system with everyone else and switch between environments. And not carry two of something. I did the boot camp thing a while back and I have to say when it goes down it is not fun. Two installs of software and what not. I had an older macbook pro, with a recall on the hard drive. The main problem before was no real view support so I hacked my card to support it. For the most part worked great. This would be a vast improvement. In fact It would be awesome.
One thread mentioned ECC support problems with the i-7 chipset and the Intel HD Graphics 3000 processor, but that hasnt hit anywhere else. I'd be curious to see more reviews.
and how about parallels?
