Up until now I have been using generic part names such as washer, plate, spacer...etc. I would like start using a different part naming system like our job number - detail number 123456-001. Is there a way I can rename all the parts in an assembly in one shot? I know about pack and go, file save as, and sw explorer. These will allow you to find and replace text or add a suffix or prefix but I cannot find a way to totally rename all parts in one shot. I know that I can double click on each part and rename but that would take forever. Any ideas for me?
