I've recently updated the KB solution with a 2011 compatible script. Check it again.
-Tor, Enterprise PDM support
But: Could not find any documents to set Revision on for Workflow "Default Workflow", Status "Approved", FilenameExt "sldprt", Variable "Revision", Configuration "@".
Possible some other problem during import from two PWDWorks vaults...have nice weekend...
Likely something misspelled in your input criteria in the script. Note that you should include the . (period) on the extension.
Set @FilenameExt = '.sldprt'
I noticed that...but....
Here is the problem...major Geir Bug in the import script...
I created a vb.net application to import the documents:
- Some documents was only in 'Draft' state and in the vb app I used IedmFile.ChangeState to 'Approved'.
- Missed/forgot the fact that there must be a transition between then current state and then new state.
- Documents has never been 'Approved'.
I noticed also that the Documents.CurrentStatusID was wrong (ID 93). In the Status table this record have the WorkFlowID = 1. Our 'Default WorkFlow' have the ID=9
We have now imported around 105.000 documents from one SmarTeam vault and two PDMWorks vaults into EPDM in our company. This last import maybe messed up our EPDM database. I don't know - EPDM still working. Only 4.000 documents was imported. 305 documents have this wrong CurrentStatusID.
I love deadlines - I especially like the whooshing sound they make as they go flying by.
