In Toolbox is there a way to change the material properties for groups of parts? For instance the socket head cap screws are coming up with the wrong density (Aluminum), which makes the weights wrong. I would like to change these to have the density of steel.

Scott, thanks for the information but I'm still a little confused. How do you enter the density information in the custom properties area. When I try to enter the information it doesn't update the components.

The Toolbox properties only sets a pick list for selection in the configurator, and inserts a code into the filename.
For actual material properties - set the material (or just density) in the base part of that group.
Ed, if you set up a material custom property that is linked to the material
file you can call up the toolbox part and edit the material then this material
selection will be linked to the custom property value.
I hope this makes sense.

i woud like to add one more point in scott words.
generally toolbox parts are in readonly condition, so change their readonly status and add material having your desired materail properties, after saving it again change its status to readonly.
