how can i add a work zero point symbol in a drawing?
he asks for an arc if i want to draw a dowel pin.
i also want the big drawing in the bottom to be displayed half, because i only need coordinates on 1 side.
can someone help me?
Welcome to SW forums Neil.
You can take the advantage of ordinate dimension if you to place a zero dimension and do dimension w.r.t to zero line. Check attached video.
And for the half section wither create a new configuration that shows half view (either using 180 deg revolve or cut extrude)
Use broken out section view in the drawing and remove the lower portion as required.

thanks for the fast response.
i know how to use the ordinate dimensioning,
but i want to draw the dowel pin symbol, on the X0 and Z0.
this is important to use in my drawings for my students.
the half view options are very good, thanks for the advice.
You can draw two circles (can set them to be of same dia) on the vertices and then add the symbol as required.
Just create the dowel pin symbol as a block and insert it where you need it to be.
