Hole Table

Discussion created by Guest on Nov 15, 2006
If all/some of the back side holes line up with near side holes you can add the callouts manually by editing the appropriate callout at the correct x/y location.

Or you will have to create a back side view and create another hole table for the back side.

We use both techniques for our tool and die prints.

If you have SolidWorks 2007 you can create the hole chart from multiple views (plan, sides, bottom, etc). But you must have all the views created on one sheet to select from when setting up the hole chart.

Hopefully someone will have a better answer for you. Hole charts are better in SolidWorks but still have some work to do to make them more effecient for those of us that create drawings with complex hole patterns.
