I have a part file with several configurations in it. I want to take one of those configs and copy it to a different part file. Does anyone know if this is possible? How would I go about it?

The best way I can think of to do that would be to create a design table in the
one then save it out of solidworks in Excel. Then insert it into the other part.

Look them up in the help file. You can automatically create one.
Then once you have one created, select the "Opnein the design table up in s seperate window"
and you get all of the Excel functionality.
Are you starting a brand new part file for the copied config? If yes, file>save as, and create a new part. Then delete all the configs you don't want in the new part.

No I am not starting a new part file, I have two part files and each of them has configurations that I need, and I wanted to combine them.

Unless the part files have identical sketch names, dimension names, feature names, etc, copying a config will not work.
