Hi.
So I've got this assembly (STEP file) that came from some PCB design software (don't know which one), consisting of the PCB and all the components. Each component is an assembly consisting of one part. Fun. Each assembly and each part has planes which are HUGE. More fun. So, even on a small PCB, that's a LOT of planes getting in the way.
I want to hide all the planes, so that I can actually use the assembly in my main assembly. I'll eventually want to create some mating planes and use those to mate to the main assembly.
Currently, I am expanding each assembly and part in the assembly tree, and hiding each and every plane. I can't filter planes and window select. And even if I could, it does not appear that hiding works on multiple planes in the graphics pane.
Is there an easier, quicker way to hide all those planes?
You can just -barely- see the PCB assembly in this screenshot.
Fun.
Thanks,
john
